M A Pass Full Movie 720p Download Movies

Since HD movies that transfer over to iTunes from Movies Anywhere don't get auto-upgraded to 4K (even though they appeared to for awhile), how exactly would one re-buy the same movie in 4K? The iTunes store sees the movie as already owned and in HD, with no obvious option given for upgrading like in VUDU.

Possible Solution: At one time I had all Harry Potters showing up as 4k because I was dumb enough to buy through VUDU. Those no longer show up as 4k and I too must decide if I wish to repurchase them. The question is how? Some movies are like brand new purchase. If I unlink my iTunes account, the movies will still show up but new purchased will not so unlinking may not be an option unless I remove it from my library. (Have not tried this or the gifting of 4k)

Bottom Line: I will get all 4k Harry Potters at some point. I own 7 movies and 4 of them are 4k. I will no longer buy movies from VUDU, Alphabet Play, Amazon, Microsoft, Fandango or any other retailer that does not offer free 4k upgrade. I will likely buy my movies on iTunes since Apple TV versions of Prime and Vudu offer 4k or 4k UHD. So if my account is unlinked I will still have a way to play 4k or 4k UHD somewhere.

I don't think I explained the problem very well. I have approximately 100 HD movies that link from Movies Anywhere to my iTunes account that are available in 4K, but not to me since they're from a Movies Anywhere link...but lets say now I want to buy one of them in the iTunes store so I can have access to the 4K version. How do I do that? If you go to the movie page in the store it just sees it as being owned already and locked in HD, with no obvious purchase option.

This is so frustrating, I'm in the same boat. Several movies aren't available in 4k on iTunes so I bought them on Vudu in 4k hoping that when Apple gets their stuff together, hopefully I'll have it in 4k in iTunes.

I do appreciate you all taking the time to delve deeper into these issues that are "plaguing" our digital movie collection. Not trying to make matters more complicated, but for anyone who has an iPhone X, it is true that your device is capable of playing films (purchased from other retailers, mind you) in the 4K (or rather, HDR) format. Even though the title is listed as "HD," it is a proven fact that when you download more recent titles (i.e. Dunkirk, Blade Runner 2049, etc.), one will notice that the amount of GB space used in a device is nearly double the typical amount for HD quality downloads.

However, one can even download movies and web series on Telegram. Downloading movies and videos from Telegram is quite easy; you can download any files from Telegram by just finding its download link. Now, if you also want to download movies on Telegram, here is a step by step guide you can follow.

This would only be valid for content originaly shot at a native 4K resolution. Also movies shot on film will need to be rescanned and restored at 4K resolution. There is no point of re-encoding content that is not native 4K or better, because the Apple TV (to be) will do that job anyway.

I think it depends on how they label and sell 4K. For example if you buy an SD version of a movie, you have to buy it again in HD if you want it. On the other hand, all HD purchases were upgraded from 720p to 1080p when the HD resolution was change in iTunes.

I recently bought a 4K TV on black Friday so, yes, it does matter to me. Is hard to switch back to 1080p after watching those gorgeous graphics in movies and tv series. My smart TV has youtube and netflix, both support and broadcast content in 4K, a beautiful thing; even another reason to skip Apple TV 4th gen. I will settle with my 3rd gen until then. I guess Apple loves to crash into parties very late.

It needs time. Like I said before many 4K sets include a hard drive with 4K shows and movies. No 4K Blu Ray are out now. For the price of 4K sets yes most people should purchase one for the small difference between it and a smart tv. They have t wait for the connect though. 2ff7e9595c
